My airplane prior to 1985 would have been a "sorta-Gitmo" scheme, yellow cowl, orange spinner, black "24" on the silver fuselage. After 1985 it would be in a Pensacola pre-war scheme, red cowl and spinner, yellow wings, red tail, silver fuse with "24" on the fuse.
Sure do remember Connie's airplane getting stuck in the mud, the Friday night dinner in the hangar, Howard and Buck Ridley waking people up at 6:30 am by buzzing the various motels....good times.

Old Shep, For some reason I did not get it at Big Gun, BUT I did get it at Freedom Flight 95 at Glendale AZ. That is the next photos I plan to scan after Big Gun.
