F-51D 12th FBS, 18th FBG .... "That was too fast" ...

... or too slow, or too much, or not enough, or ... just not to be mistaken for F-51D "Was that too fast" ... but close.

Here's 12th Fighter-Bomber Squadron, 18th Fighter-Bomber Group North American F-51D-25-NA Mustang 44-74943 after what looks to be a belly landing at probably Chinhae AB (K-10) during the first years of the Korean War.

Here's the accident report. Looks to have been at K-13 Suwon AB, S Korea 26-MAR-1951

Speaking of K-10 in Korea reminded me of seeing 45-11350 losing power on take off and crashing in the bay.Pilot was KIA This was 3-18-51. Long time ago.Was waiting for transport back to the front and sat and watched the 51's going out on missions
