Cl-13 Sabre/RCAF 23029... or is it?

CL-13 Sabre/RCAF 23029

Warbird Registry Profile

I know the following information on this aircraft:

Built by Canadair, 19??.
Delivered to Royal Canadian Air Force as 23029.
- BOC: December 21, 1953.
- SOC: June 28, 1957.
- Allocated to No. 422 (F) Squadron.
Delivered to Luftwaffe as BB-112.
- BOC: N/A.
- SOC: January 18, 1960.
Dornier, Germany, December 2, 1962.

Now obviously the picture is newer than 1962. The contributor identified it as 23029 but I don't know if that is accurate or not. There are some discrepancies in the research as to the fate of 23029 and whether it went to the Luftwaffe as BB-112 (later JB-112) or some other number.

Now it's the WIXMind's turn. Does anybody know if this picture is actually 23039 or is it some other Sabre? Any history on this airframe would be helpful.

Thanks in advance. :)

It's c/n 819 (Sabre 5) undergoing restoration at Erding 2005-2006 timescale. Ex-RCAF 23029. Your history is missing a bit prior to Erding:

23029 delivered to 1 OFU 31Dec53, 1 Air Division 03Feb54, 422 Sqn, ‘B’ (accident 24Sep54 on landing?), to Luftwaffe 28Jun57 via SAL Renfrew, WS 10 as BB112 04Nov57, to EStelle 61 Manching 20Jan60 as YA005, (soc 18Jan60?), to Dornier 03Dec62, to Sonthofen, preserved near Luftwaffen Inspektion/Jagerkaserne, as 'GAF-001'.
