Does anyone know how many airworthy PBYs remain?

Looks to be in the order of 20.
The Wikipedia list might even be 100% correct! You can certainly quibble, e.g. ZK-PBY is undergoing heavy maintenance rather than restoration.

C-FUAW is presently performing engine runs...gear swing shortly...should be airborne soon.

This is cool....I seen it at the link above. Maybe I missed it but I do not recall reading too much of anything about this one.

The list is full of errors/outdated information

The Palm Springs one hasn't flown since its ferry flight to the museum

The one Listed at North Weald is now in Florida in a decidedly unairworthy condition

"Cool" isn't the word I'd use to describe the Bird Innovator, at least on looks alone! :?

As far as Australasian Cats/Cansos are concerned the list looks about right and, as Errol says, ZK-PBY should be flying in a year or less after heavy maintenance work and some fresh fabric.

Super Cat PBY-5A, serial number 48287, reg: N287, now owned by Cavanaugh, and being worked on(when resources permit) for return to flight.

Whoa! When did that happen? Heres to hoping Cavanaugh will backdate the PBY to a more authentic WWII condition.

C-FUAW looks like she's tired of sitting still.

Cavanaugh getting the PBY was the reason given for moving Fifi. (Needed the space for the Cat)
