You are welcome.

Since there is interest, I'll get a few shots next wekend and post some of the projects.

We are asked not to go too deeply into the projects online and I haven't, but I can get some external shots that show the general progress. People use the detail shots to write articles and make money, but the museum doesn't get a cut, so we are supposed to take only shots the public can get from where they are supposed to be.

We get requests almost every weekend to come closer and get detail shots, even cockpit shots, and exclusive access. After granting some and getting nothing in return, we generally don't do that anymore. There are quite a few interesting aircraft around Chino airport and I'll try to get a few of them ,too.

Went with my son on Saturday and we sure had a good time. One of the best run shows I've seen. Here are a few of the 500 or so photos I took. One of my favorite planes was there (Vultee BT-15) away from the flight line and got to see it up close and endure the ridicule of my son and brother while they watched me take too many photos of it (I'm a model builder).

Must of missed the Cessna landing as I was trying to find a hat. Great show and great planes!

Robert

Nice shots there. The Cessna landed in the middle of Sean Ticker's act ... I think it was Sunday, but I didn't partitularly take note of the day since I was tired and watching the show when I could.

As airshow volunters, we get there from 4:30 am to 6:00 am depending on job. I was leaving from 8:30 to 10: 00 in the evening, so I was a bit run-down when Sunday was over.

Nice pictures guys, that was an excellent show, and hope they continue the twilight show next year. As we headed home Sunday, on Saturday watched the PD go racing for the field, and wondered what that was all about; heard some details later, thanks for all the info about the show Greg, much appreciated.
New to me were obviously the P-36, that was very cool to see, and it flew; the Taifun, and the new paint on the Pond's P-51D named Bunny. Also very nice was the Golden Age of Flight with the Travel Air, Laird, etc.

And yes, we very much appreciate all the work the volunteers do to make this a successful show, thanks.

Again POF put together another great show. A wonderful mix of aviation history. From the pre WWII trainers to todays 5th gen fighter. I too hope they continue the twilight show next year. Here's a few of my pics from the twilight show. Thanks Roger for letting Shawn and I join your gang for dinner. Good Times!

Enjoy!

Hi Steven,

Great set of pictures, nice meeting up with you guys. That dinner location started out as a WIX gathering dinner for the POF show years ago, but while most of those that attended then have thinned out since, we continued with our Society for Aviation History group, and a bunch of friends along the way.

Those, my friend, are some wicked photographs!

The Air Zoo's Tigercat is looking beautiful! Glad to see her being put through her paces!

Cheers,
Rob

Greg, you neglected to mention the 'LOOK' you guys get every time you bring someone behind the rope lines ;)

Hi Cindy,

As usual, you and Jerry put on a great airshow. If nobody has done so (and they had better have ...), thank you for the long hours or preparation so we could all see the show. Most people have no idea of the scope of work that goes into putting on a good airshow. Hope you have recovered! Just feeding 400 volunteers is tough enough. The airshow itself takes a mountain of coordination dealing with vendors, porta-potties, the FAA, the visiting planes and pilots, transportation, first aid, etc.

People tend to focus on what went wrong. But so much went right that my only complaint was not knowing in advance when the Friday flying would start. I went back and corrected a couple of things I got wrong above. Didn't see as much as I did in past years due to being off airport when required. I said a few things above that were told to me and I later found out it wasn't quite the case.

Hopefully some WIX members who haven't been there before will come to next year's show.

Great pics! ... and thanks again, Cindy, for the mountain of work you do on a regular basis.
