So, a little benefit having an apprentice in the shop. Gave him a project to design and build an organizer for our hammers and metal forming tools. He is learning TIG welding as well so he did a great job. Nice to find a young kid, 18 who really wants to learn and has some good basic skills. Oh yeah, he's a car guy too so his FU I call a "Rat Fink" shifter. Told him to research that one. 8)

Starting to finalize the LH fixture with locating points for all the formers. Then I have to mirror image the RH version. Ugghhhh. :?

New tool added this weekend for sheet metal work. Pullmax P6 will do nearly every sheet metal need you can want. I am very happy to have found this with an old racing buddy from years gone by. Also had a ton of the right tooling. I will share much more of this beauty going forward but it will play a key role in the Corsair project.

So, the Pullmax is ready as soon as the converter drive gets here. Had to take some time to clean it up and refurbish the tooling. It was parked in the corner of a small welding shop and pretty dirty. Not appropriate for shop.

Tooling included for shearing, slotting, nibbling, offsets. flanging, beading, and louvering.

The lower LH inlet section now goes for final fit to the fixture. Had to create a patented flange "tweaking" tool so I can adjust the flanges to the contours necessary as well as adjust any other fit issues. Then drilling final assembly rivet locations. Geez, maybe Santa will bring me a sleigh load of small vice grip clamps. See how much she loves me.
