No need to PM, I'll give you some suggestions on how to get the axe right here. Let's see off the top of my head.
1. Tell the truth no matter who you may offend.
2. Don't suck up to Warbird owners, that's usually good for at least one banning if you do it right.
3. If you hate a paint scheme simply state it. That's classic banning material.
4. Don't be afraid to tell an idiot who's being an idiot to go F himself, that's usually worth a good banning right there.
5. Drunk posting, that's an oldie but a goodie.
6. Thin skin on Internet forums usually account for a few bannings in one way or another.

I know I'm missing several others but these are at least six of my own I can recall off hand

And as John Wayne would say ... "Never apologize as it's a sign of weakness"

Meanwhile speaking of bannings, anyone want an update on Madras Maiden?

Of course it's always much better to practice what your mamma taught you (or should have) just to list a few.
1. Show respect.
2. Show compassion.
3. Use restraint.
4. Always be graceful under pressure.
5. Be generous.
6. Be a class act.

It never hurts to be kind to others. It's actually kind of fun sometimes. :supz:

These qualities should keep you out of trouble around here. Boring yes, but boring is good these days.
And Tom has a full compliment of every one of them. Always has.

Looks like I'll be there too in a few weeks (but with only one-third the posts).
So... anyone talked to the Colonel lately?
(oops)

Good company.

Sad to think that two of the most knowledgeable and best sharing posters in the top ten (by posts) are no longer with us. But al least we had them when we had them...

Nicely done Tom!

I haven't been on here much lately, but I've been a member for a fairly long time.

I can say that I've always enjoyed your contributions to WIX.

Cheers,

David

I'm coming up on 10 years myself. I don't post much because I rarely know anything that hasn't already been said, but I've really enjoyed learning from all of you. I was 15 when I joined this site and it's a big reason I've been able to keep my interest alive through graduating high school and college, and moving to different parts of the country three times. Cheers to all of you for making this a great place to learn! :drink3:

Number of posts don't mean anything. And I feel somewhat shameful to be on the list of top 10's. Im just a history buff who is very anti-social in real life. :hide: Lots of people here do more then I ever done.

I too have been around for 10 + years but not posted that much. I actually joined the "old WIX" which was a different format. On a regular basis, it broke down due to too high post count and topics had to be archived. Since I was and still am in Europe, I noticed the trouble long before Scott was awake and I sent him an email to notify him of "time to archive". I still check out the WIX on a daly basis, more or less.
