Scott,

I have seen you fly one routine at Oshkosh.

I had goose bumps.

You one upped Bob Hoover, and he is a GREAT PERFORMER and man.

Thanks!

(The ever-busy Zack asked me to post)

The annual WIX/Timeless Voices Oshkosh picnic will be held on Thursday, July 31. Eating to begin at 6:00 PM; Happy Hour around 5:30 or so.

The location (like last year) will be in Warbird Camping. This is a short walk due west from the Warbird display area. Watch here for updates, as we won't have the exact campsite location until Thursday, July 24.

Hey Dan K.,

So, for sure, Zack will be doing his get together/WIX BBQ on Thursday, July 31st?

If so, I may just have to arrive on Thursday instead of Friday.

Thanks,

Ron W.

Thursday it is, everybody. Bring an appetite. Bring a thirst. Bring a friend. Heck, bring a Sharpie for autographs (as the Scott Rose rumors are still flying wildly). pop2

But DON'T go to the old location (house on Waukau Ave.). Like 2013, Dave & Cindi Staffeldt are gracious enough to provide the location in Warbird Camping. I should have the exact site by the end of this week.

Anyone else able to RSVP already?

NATA/FAST clinics start this Wednesday (DBQ) and Friday (SBM).

Anybody able & willing to report from either event? Last year's thread had some nice input.

I'll give David the old WIX P-47 banner that Mark made up for us years ago and we'll post that somewhere around the campsite so it will be easier to find us. I've marked the general location in the screen grab of the AirVenture grounds map.

Well, since you put it that way...

And be sure to tell S.O. he's been recommissioned grillmeister. I'll even hold his beer.
