How often are these planes flown out of Easton? Does he ever open his hangar to the public? Easton is about 100 miles from me, but looks like it would be well worth the trip!

The hangar is usually open. He also has a full time mechanic who works there monday - friday. In fact when I took these pictures I stood around for 20 minutes looking for someone and could not find anyone.

Im pretty sure they have a open door policy with the public as long as everyone is on their best behavior.

A few years ago I was on my way to OC and I could have sworn I saw a P-51 land at a small airport along the way, "somewhere" on the eastern shore. It was one of those things where a few minutes later, I began to doubt that I'd really seen what I saw. I guess I really DID see it that day!

It's a TC, not a TD.

His P-51 " Slender, Tender & Tall" left along with a pristine P-40 a little while back. Not sure if both were sold or what just know they both left. I've seen the P-51 in updates down at Stallion 51 which Mr. Blair is also an investor or business partner in so I'm not sure what the scoop is. It was a sad day with they both left ESN.

Well ESN isn't too small anymore. 50 million has been spent in upgrades and improvements in the past decade, including cross runways of 5500 Ft. & 4000 feet and a Tower. 21 private jets based here, which is always a good sign of an airports health. Plans for further development are also underway to be able to bring in larger commercial jets too.

They were both sold.
