For my 3000 I give you a nice Corsair photo

We used to have a LOVELY French-painted -7 in the UK, owned by a very nice guy by the name of Lindsay Walton. It really looked great, in its original Aeronavale markings with Suez stripes. Unfortunately, when he sold it back to the US, it was repainted in a very bland, generic USN scheme.

That one has always been one of my favourite warbirds, and was a very different machine to TFC's near-stock '1D. The -7 cockpit was almost like an early jet, with side consoles, hydraulically-powered canopy, etc.

I wished I had that kind of problem in my backyard, weeds, razor wire, two dozens or so Corsairs.......
