for sale : 1 ww2 silhouette aircraft i.d. hand book w/ a cool history behind it - my buddy was the top dog at Cleveland Hopkins int. airport w/ the faa years ago as a controller. when they re modeled & modernized the tower this i.d. book was found behind a wall or filing cabinet. a real piece of ww2 aviation history/ home front ww2 history. dated September 1942, published by commanding general, army air forces, by the chief, field services, air service command wright field, Dayton, ohio. book measures 11 inches length x 8 1/2 inches width. marked restricted. 33 pages of silhouette i.d.'s & specs of both allied & axis aircraft. book is deteriorated, loose pages, but basically solid for display. condition is to be expected due to the way it was found after decades following the war. $30.00 + postage. email me at fbt9598@yahoo.com or pm me via wix.
