Looking for info on Harpoon 37107 which may be owned by Bruce Graham. Also info on
37181 owned by Dawson Aviation. Anyone know the status of these two?

I live where Dawson Aviation/Kinney Air Tankers was once headquartered, Glendive, Montana, and of the pictures I have, I cannot find a single photo regarding the aircraft in question. I do know that some of the company's airplanes, while registered to Dawson Aviation/Kinney Air Tankers, never made it to Glendive, Kinney purchased some of his aircraft (PV-2's, A-26's, DC-7) from Bill Dempsay, Central Air Service and there are at least two A-26's that never made it here, because I only remember one, so the same might hold true for your search as I am relatively certain that at least a couple of PV's never made it here as well. I do recall seeing Hugh Wheeless' (Dothan Flying Service?) name on at least one of the PV's that once was parked here. Probably not much help.

Have been trying to find some answers to your post and found ATTU WARRIOR is for sale. Found it on Trade-A-Plane.
37107 was in Indiana for a while but you probably know this. Have you tried Joe Baughers site?

Steve, 37107 is indeed Bruce's aircraft, stored in Jerome, Id. 37181....last I had info on this airframe, was that it transfered to Italian A.F. I do not have a civil registration number for this aircraft, so would be very interested if this did reach U.S. after Italy retired it.

Craig, I know that PV-2 N7458C...37234 was not a Dawson bird, but while owned by Hirth Air Tanker, it possibly could have been in your neighborhood...I am looking for pictures of this ship while a spray aircraft, as well as pics of N7272C. Maybe you might have a photo in your archives?

P.S. Goodall's site has a few mistakes....37234 was not mounted on a pole in Branson!

37107 was never in Indiana. It was registered here, but never physically present. It has been at John Lane's for a long time....

Gary,

I'm sorry, but the only pictures that I have of N7272C and N7458C are the ones that I took on the morning of Connie's auction at Buffalo (BYG) back in June, 2005. I took a couple dozen photos including N7670C and N7080C. I was living in Greybull (GEY) at the time, got up early, hopped the mountain over to BYG and captured the moment before everyone got there.

I do have a picture or two of N7670C when it sat here in Glendive (GDV). N7670C was the last PV to leave GDV, ferried to BYG by John Hirth sometime in 1986 or 1987.

On a sidenote, T-101, N6657D, was based here in GDV for several years back in the early to mid-80's.

You sparked my curiosity; I did a little digging tonight here at home and I found the Starman Brothers Auction list from Connie's auction. You probably know this but here goes anyway: N7080C, the tanker, sold for $13,500. N7670C sold for $6,000. N7272C sold for $6,500. N7458C, the airframe, sold for $1,250.

The last time I flew into BYG was in June of 2012 and for the life of me, I cannot remember how many PV's were still parked there. The only one that I know for certain that was NOT there was N7670C. I vaguely remember N7458C sitting there, wingless.

I must say that it is a crying shame that some of the aviation history we had in this region for so long, (Lynch Air Tankers, Hawkins and Powers Aviation, Hirth and Kinney), up and vanished like flatulence in the wind....
