Boeing-Wichita Patch

Sat Feb 01, 2014 4:56 pm

Hello all,
I found this patch here in Tulsa this morning, and was curious about it. I found one reference on another website that it was a patch used on the back of pairs of coveralls at the Boeing-Wichita plant. Does anyone know if that is true? Anyone got a photo of such coveralls in use, or of surviving coveralls? The patch is about 7-8 inches tall. It was really nice looking. The photo below was taken looking through the glass of his display case.

Second set of questions- what is it worth/what would someone pay for it? I didn't buy it because I thought the guy's asking price was kinda high, but if someone here is interested I can try to go back and see if he will sell for a more reasonable price.

I'm not sure if it's authentic, looks like, but it is cool and depending on how much is too much, I have a bell Aircraft Service Rep patch for the back of a set of coveralls and it's worth a couple hundred.
