Yes, congrats, and thanks for sharing -- this is still one of my favorite threads for sure! :drink3:

This shot was taken with Pivothead Glasses…kinda like a poor mans google glass. It gives you a realistic depth but the angle is not wide enough for me. Maybe 2nd gen will be better???

You know what ... I normally hate when music is added to airplane vids, would so much rather hear airplane music. But this music was good (and yes I know where it comes from). You got a real touch, man!

Great video Jim. I loved the flat turn! I used to do that with my R/C Goldberg Clipped Wing Cub. Cool stuff.

Thanks guys! fun flying and fun to put the videos together. I still have my Goldberg Cub...enya .46...many hours flying that airplane. Its just as much fun to slip the Goldberg Cub as it is the real thing. more to come!! I love acoustic guitar music, it fits the Cub :)

I think I just thought of a title, for what could be the shortest thread on WIX.

"Who's havin' more fun than Jim Harley?" That would be a short list

Real nice Jim. Thanks for that.

My tiger wasn't ready last year, and you didn't make Geneseo. I can't help but throw down the gauntlet again and challenge you to a race! Tiger moth VS Cub!
I'm not sure who'd win, or who'd have the most fun :D

Cheers :drink3:

Oh yeah! Our Dripsy Gipsy has more horses, and we have more wings

None of that fancy "indoor" flying though

You'd love Geneseo Jim. It's a great time.
A real laid back, down home, country airshow. It is truly unique.

Thanks as always for posting these photos from your journeys and ventures, Jim! It seems to sound like once they receive the center section following restoration by Precision in Australia, the restoration of the FG-1D "Joe" will commence at FOF - according to Weeks, it should be a very straight-forward restoration since the aircraft is complete and not too bad off as is.
