That is definitely Jerry's p40 and looks like Suffolk. But I don't think it would be Jerry. I'm thinking either Mike(his test pilot/lead pilot) or Don Anklin. I'm thinking Don. Jon Brawner told me that Don buzzed him at the airfield once like that in the SNJ. Or at least it sounded like it had been that low. Maybe Jon will see this and chime in or CraigQ will fill us in :supz:

It's an AlphaJet. When you pause the video, you can see the shoulder-mounted wings and large cheek intakes.

I have one of the prop blades in my collection of junque...

Flow by Jim Mott, owned by Jerry Miles (if in fact he held title to anything he had in his possession).

I remember that quite well. I seem to remember you could see the wing tip bent up as he tried to make it back then he lost it. Firetrucks and emergency personnel headed to the scene and then a helicopter launched to the scene. The helicopter returned to the ramp and we all thought it had been a fatal accident. I watched through a set of binoculars as they cut into the side of the fuselage with a rescue tool and a little while later he popped out.

It is the FF P-40 and yes it is at Suffolk. I shot this one while I still worked there. Sometime in early 09 IIRC. DA was the pilot.

Yep P 40 is buzzing the taxi way to runway 4 passing the old Skydive Suffolk building and the FF hangar.

I did that once in the L4. The guy taking the pictures got his first shot, went over to the Red Apple and had lunch, then finished the second shot as I finally pulled up around 20 minutes later.

It was an awesome sight of speed and power.

No Alpha Jet. This sequence is from Argentinia and the aircraft is an FMA IA 63 Pampa.
