Remembrance Sunday (UK) - Spitfires & Hurricane flypast

Tue Nov 12, 2013 4:53 pm

Sunday 10 November saw the UK marking Remembrance Sunday. At the historic Biggin Hill airfield near London, a formation of six historic aircraft - three Spitfires, Hurricane, Harvard and Cub - overflew St George's RAF Chapel on the fringes of the old RAF Biggin Hill station to mark the occasion.

Thought some of you might be interested in reading about the day, and taking a look at some of the photos - including plenty of nice shots of the latest Spitfire to fly in the UK, MkXVI RW382!
