Looking for info on a AF crash in Spain

Sun Aug 04, 2013 2:43 pm

I am looking for any information about an Air Force crash in Spain in 1973. The pilot's name was Benz. That's all the info I have

I would appreciate any help or direction anyone could provide me.

Thank You.

Only mention of a USAF plane crash in Spain in 1973 was a C-141A, 63-8077, crashed near Huete, Spain, on 28 AUG while enroute from Athens, Greece, to Madrid. Report I read did not list crew. 24 of the 25 people on board died. One crewman survived. http://planecrashinfo.com/1973/1973-58.htm

According to this website (scroll down to April 4, 2008), Benz was not a name of any crew member of that C-141.
