Actually if you are willing to spend about $375 you could get copies of the microfilm from the smithsonian. That's where Jim got his. 11 rolls times $30 a roll plus $25 for shipping. Then you'll probably want to throw $50 out for an old microfilm reader.

Hi Rob your work looks great. We have all of the drawings for P-51, P-38, P-47, F-6F, F-8F, At-6. The are all scanned at high resolution and renamed to the part number so no index is needed, you can navigate drawings extremely fast and actually read the drawings. Can you PM so we can talk some more about your project?

I've modelled a lot of P-51 parts in Autocad, would like to know more of what you've done.
Also have finallized the lofting for the B/C and D.
