I'm trying to identify the WWII aircraft depicted at 4:44 in a tribute video (
http://videos.lifetributes.com/MediaVie ... ?id=400445) to my uncle, who died May 19. For years I thought he flew as a radioman/gunner in Douglas Dauntless SBDs, but the aircraft he's pictured with has aftward folding wings, which the SBD didn't have. Is the aircraft a Curtis Helldiver? As far as I can make out it didn't have aftward folding wings, either. Help!
Thanks

Thanks! (That surprised me. Old memories aren't real reliable, I guess.)

Thanks! (I screwed up the earlier reply, I guess. Getting old.)
