Mustangs Bald Eagle and Double Trouble Too were at KBED today for a flyover of Fenway Park for opening day. If sequestration means more warbird flyovers versus modern jets then I'm all for it.

Around 2pm today, glossy sea blue Bearcat on a very short final to KSAT, I presume it was one of Lewis' fleet of F8F's.

Yesterday 4/20 was HFF 'Spring shakedown day' glad the torrential rains stopped to get it in.

I saw an Airbus A380 on the way into Washington-Dulles. I had never seen one before. Man, that is one big airplane.

It is back out of the hangar for maintenance. Evidently they're still keeping it airworthy. One can hope, right?!

I just heard the most interesting and actually very pleasant airplane noises, turns out it was a CESSNA PUSHMEPULLYOU with the engines nicely synced up instead of sounding like a tablesaw with a missing tooth cutting old bricks-I guess every once in a while a blind squirrel........

AT-6 / SNJ type airplane flew directly over my house in Calumet City, Illinois, at 0950 today, flying east to west. I love the sound of round engines in the morning.

Single radial engined plane just flew over and landing at EFD.
Pretty sure it was Texas Flying Legends Avenger.

It was a fair distance off in the late afternoon sun, but it was red, high winged, boxy with fixed gear and that distinctive slow turning WRIGHT HORNET single row rumble, there are some very nice golden agers up @ Concrete Airport-

Inspector, did you mean to say "P & W" Hornet instead of "Wright" Hornet?
