This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I spoke with Allen last week. The bike is going to look like a vintage board racer. He's ready made the triples for the front end. It will carry the oil in the frame tubes. He's coming to LA on the 22nd & I'm going to take him to Harry Hectors radial warehouse in Burbank while he's here.

Funny moment yesterday. I'd taken Allen & his 2 sons over to have a tour at Lenos collection & then we went to Harry Hectors place (AKA *Hangar 51*) across the airfield as he wanted a look around for parts.
During the conversation there he said "It's only taken me since October to get this far, but it took me 5 years to find a pair of cylinders & pistons in the UK..... Do you guys have many cylinders here?"
Reply: "yeah, we have about 10,000, how many do you need?"

Latest update is that it will have a hand-change 4 speed trans with foot operated clutch.

Aren't those KZ-1000 fours? like on the CHUMP....er...CHIPS bikes, the second bike is a 750 three holer, a very frightening bike to ride they were like a sawed off shotgun you never knew where it was going when you pulled the trigger but you knew it was going to happen fast and probably not result in a happy ending.
I think an adaptation of the 1000 4 is whats used in the little Legends jalopy look-a-like race cars.

H2s were two stroke triples. The 1000 in the foreground is one of his modified engines I imagine, an H2 expanded out to four cylinders. Each cylinder was 250cc. Very nice looking conversion. Very clean. Must have been a monster to ride. These bikes (the 750s) were rockets. Didn't handle worth a dam, but in a straight line they were pretty much untouchable for awhile.

750 triple 2stroke with a 4th cylinder added... That pic was taken yesterday.... He's also built a few H1 500 *triples* with 5 cylinders... One of which was eBay last week for $39K (no takers)
