Ditto (great pics). If you ever run across a picture of SNJ-5 BuNo 91077, please let me know
(I'm still searching for the holy grail... a picture of my SNJ-5 during wartime / military service).

BuNo 91077 was based at Cuddihy Field in 1945-1946, overhauled at Pensacola in late 1946,
stored at Glynco Naval Air Base (in that huge blimp hangar with hundreds of other SNJs) and
then went on to serve at Whiting and Saufley fields in Florida before it was stricken from
Navy records in November of 1953.

Taking a quick break from studies to say WOW! I had no idea that much went on down at Corpus Christi. It was an obvious oversight on my part--it's amazing how big our militarization really was. It was EVERYBODY!

Our project SNJ-3 01769 went through an overhaul there in 44.
I can only imagine how big the place was by then.
