I'd recommend moving to Stevens County, camped there for a week and never saw or heard an airplane.
As King Harold proved, it's futile to shovel against the tides, wish to reduce 'airplane noise' @ KPAE? make the CESSNA 185 operators who all seem to want to set the worlds altitude record inside the airport boundaries and run their props @ just under supersonic on take off reduce power after takeoff (it is, after all a 9700 ft. runway).
It's coming so stop holding your breath until I turn blue.
And you must have missed the part where I mentioned that until I retired and could no longer justify $1200 a month for a duplex, I lived within 5 minutes of the field for just about 26 years, now I live under the Eastside pattern for N.A.S. Whidbey so obviously airplane noise never bothered me.
