#3 a WILLYS Americar coupe, anyone for a AA/GS coupe in the raw? # 5 is a PLYMOUTH '34?, #7 Ike and Harold Wilson in a Roller, #10 is a 37 FORD humpback (built in trunk) there's another 37 FORD sedan a couple pictures later, the T Bird is a '56 (spare mounted outside the trunk), can't tell you the exact year of the gray FORD in front of the CAL F-86 as I can't see the gas filler, it's on the left side of the car, but an exterior round cap was a '49 and one with a flush gas door was a '50, (the '51 had many styling changes on the basic Gregiore design), I think the sedan parked under cover in front of the S-42 in Hawai`i is a '29-30 Lincoln, the last guy is the king of cool, Steve McQueen while he was doing TV's 'Wanted Dead or Alive' tuning on his Jaguar XK-SS, a limited production streetable version of the racing Jag 'D type' I believe actor Tim Considine (My three sons) also had one.
The far right hand motorcycle in front of the Mosquito is a MATCHLESS, 750cc twin, look @ the front brake, about 7 inches in diameter and two maybe 1" wide semi circular brakes shoes operated by a pull cable like the brakes on a modern bicycle, cotton cord tires, 'let's go really fast!' The other two might be VINCENTS.
The U.S. Mail truck loading the Northwest airlines LOCKHEED @ St. Paul Minniesnowplace is a FORD 'AA'
At a guess, the EASTERN CONNIE might be the White House press plane as the Lincoln looks like Eisenhowers official car and the GREYHOUND 'Silver Sides' would be for the ink stained wretches to ride in.

It's a 1950. 49's had F O R D on the hood instead of the emblem. 51's had 2 bullets in the grille instead of the single in 49 and 50.

I'll throw a few into the mix, if I may...

In two images without a source, the plane in the hangar is a Northrup XP-56 and the design in the second image looks like one of the Northrup flying wing test aircraft, perhaps the N-1M or N-9M. Can't really see a lot of detail in the image. I'm sure someone can add to that.

the little roadster is a HONDA 600, 2 cyl bike engine, chain drive, and about a 14000 rpm redline!
Newest car in the T-28 shot is a 61 FORD GALAXIE hardtop sedan (square top so before mid year STARLINER fastback)
Just noticed, the T-28 on the left in the front row has been flipped, no engine, no canopy glass bubble, crunched wingtip and vertical fin.
newest cars in the B-29 parking lot are a 51 Lincoln, 51 FORD, and a bathtub NASH
48-53 GMC fuel truck in front of the P-51 (OMG!!! green wheel doors!!! ), 47 CHEV and GMC 'new look' trucks didn't have wind wings the COE's make really cool rodder Pickups dropped onto a newer dually chassis.

In photo 14, Some lucky German has a nice Bugatti...but in the background is a nice Cord 812 convertible.
Oh, yeah..and a Bf-110 in the background.

Probably occcupied France.

Where did the photo come from? I'd like to send it to a Cord expert I know.

Looking at the picture of the DH Mosquito with the three motorcycles, I believe the other two bikes are Ariels. It difficult to tell other than the tank badges. The forks are Bramptons,the engines are by J.A.P., HRD did a bike using these forks and engine (prior to being acquired by Vincent). British bikes of the 20's and 30's used lots of "bought in" components from specialist makers. This is a great thread, BTW.

Steve McQueen was well known in the Vincent community, as is Jay Leno.

I knew the hood ornament would probably be the key there, but I don't know cars... and although I could probably have figured it out after a while on the web, I already waste too much time surfing for stuff I do know about. Probably would'a lost a whole weekend on that one. Thanks again, guy!

The touring car in front of the HP 42 'HENGIST' is a 34 FORD, probably in Egypt.
Keystone PATRICIAN K-78 was an attempt to get into the airliner business, three built by KEYSTONE, this one X-7962 c/n 186 was the prototype used by COLONIAL on charters Boston/New York. One of the others, NC 98N sold to Wright Aeronautical as an engine test bed/executive transport with plush interior, the Depression killed the PATRICIAN.
The OPEL KAPITAN is either a 54 or 55, Clipper N 1038V s/n 15938 to Pan AM 9/49
The 'T' on skis was a popular winterizing kit for really cold, snowy places (like my Ex wifes heart), two skis replaced the front wheels and a 'tag' axle bolted on to run the tracks.
The saloon in front of the AVRO 504 might be an AUSTIN 7 'chummy'
The car in front of the hanger with the flapper might be a VELLIE which became MONOCOUPE when the company was split up in late 1929, VELLIE built big cars in the CHRYSLER build level.
I think TAYLOR N 101D might still be flying painted OHMYGAWD yellow and Willow green.
The car being loaded into the BRISTOL 178 is a custom bodied Rolls Royce

Wonder if that snubnose Cubana Connie is the same one as in the previous photo with the '56 Buick Special convertible - and who knows if either one might be the one that went to Capitol, then to the restaurant in PA, and is now at Dover dressed up as a C-121?)
