FHC actually have two original Zero's as well as this flying one. They have the ex-Planes of Fame aircraft( Which wings were cut off and reattached ) as well as the Zero which laid in the yard of an antique store in Atlanta after the US Navy got rid of it. I think this airframe went from the Whittington Brothers to FHC.

The one from Atlanta was on outdoor display at a museum in downtown until sometime in the 90's. It was captured during the war and (IIRC) written off as damaged while in the care of the Navy. Someone bought it and apparently allowed people to take a whack at it with an axe or ball bat for $5 or whatever - there were quite a few holes punched in it. But it was relatively intact and very restorable.
I wish I'd paid more ttention to it while it was here. I went by to look at it one day and it was gone...
