Things are shaping up nicely for a great weekend. We've got a forecast for clear skies, and the grass runway is in good shape. Come out out y'all!

It may take me a while to collect and process more, but here's a teaser shot...

We didn't have our greatest ever turnout, but the day was a good success.

As a fly-in visitor, let me say what a fantasic job was done by ALS on the event. Just for starters, despite windy conditions, there was a beautiful flyover of 4 L-birds in tight formation during a beautifully sung National Anthem with colors presented by a CAP Honor Guard. The formation then circled back, and during a moment of silence, a wingman peeled up and away for a perfect missing man formation. Very moving and well done. Even the overhead pattern recovery from eschelon was flawless.

Airshow organizers take note: Ryan is one heck of an natural airshow announcer - excellent voice, knowledgable and perfect pacing of narration. If your airshow needs a 'voice', Ryan is a good choice, and far better than many I've heard at larger venues, including Oshkosh.

Ryan and others can finish the story as I had to leave early, but it is clear that ALS is better and better every year.
Well done.
