Wow a Grumman built TBF is fairly rare (except here is NZ where we have 4 of them!) but a TBM-1 would be even rarer. :shock:

I take it she is not around anymore?

The OV-10 Bronco, belonged to the U.S. Dept. of State Air Wing, and was engaged in support of anti-drug ops in Guatemala.

The red Iskra, was seen at the Grayson County Airport, near Denison, TX

The Provider, was seen at Chino, CA

A Merpati Airways C-130 that I was about to board for a quick flight between Wamena and Jayapura (Papua, Indonesia). FWIW, Jayapura airport is the former USAAF Sentani air base developed dring WWII.

Wow, I didn't know Thunderbird ever had a '104. Don't recall ever seeing it at Deer Valley.

Back in 2000, I saw a two-seater F-104, at the Williams Gateway Airport, near Gilbert, AZ sporting markings similar to this T-33 [see picture]

A T-33, an F-104 and an F-86 sproting the same color scheme, were based at one time at Ellington Field, TX. IIRC the owner was a guy by the name of "Jim Reynolds" [I could be way off here, but that's the name I remember.]

So, could it be that the Thunderbird F-104 is the same one I saw at Williams Gateway?

That's interesting. You just might be right - the timings would just about match. Until I read your comment, I wasn't aware that Shoo Shoo Shoo baby had been with the IGN. Shame the registration isn't visible.

Your real close... It was Jim Robinson and he had Combat Jets Museum...
Along with the 3 you mentioned - I believe there was also a 2nd F-86, Mig-15, Mig-21, A-4 and Vampire...

NASA C-141 photographed at Travis AFB in 1994. This C-141 is the only Starlifter that was not stretched and now resides at the Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA. It has not flown now for years (10 ?) and has been replaced by a NASA 747SP.

Depends on the year this was taken; Baby was in the USA by '73, and this plane looks like it has only one window in the nose, rather than two (which also isn't ripped down the side like Baby's was at that point). The tail looks like it's painted OD as well.

F-BEEC on the right is now Thunder Bird.

Edit: Take a look at this photo from F3V (Cedric)'s IGN blog: same single nose window and same blade on top of the nose - it's probably F-BDRS.
