I like the idea of the split personality ... show what her Training Command markings would have looked like and do a combat airplane on the other side. If so, paint it silver and choose one of the many nice 340th BG airplanes that have color photos from Corsica for the WWII side.

If it has to be OD, one that comes to mind would be to honor "Jaunty Jo" and tell the story of her crew's sacrifice. Seem slike there have already been WIX thread(s) on her.

I don't have a pic but if you do some research "Briefing Time" was a B-25J that served with the 489 Bomb sqdrn 340 Bomb Grp MTO. The MTO hardly ever gets any consideration for paint schemes. 8)

Like this? Image Briefing time based with the Mid Atlantic Air Museum.

As for the Grissom B-25. I'll vote for a scheme that it carried during its service, however mundane it may have been.

Either way I am sure Chris and company will do a great job. :D

The Briefing Time I saw, was on a decal sheet. It had a different gal on the nose as well as some colorful mission markings. Oh well it was a try I'll keep searching and posting! :)

Miss Rebel and Solid Jackson are both from the same squadron. It's hard to find decent scheme's without the bird having a gun nose.

I think the B-25Js that flew from Corsica wearing uneven OD over nat metal would be a good choice to start from, and as noted they tend to be underrepresented. While the FHC's Mitchell has the nat metal glass framing, it has gray undersides. "Briefing Time" substitutes the nat metal with gunship gray. Which is cool-looking, but still misses the effect somewhat.

A good candidate would be "MMR". Captures the scheme pretty well. However the nose art would probably require some censoring, er, cleanup, to make it palatable to the general public:

That is a good option for consideration.
