Tea tree oil....not only is it useful for a multitude of medical uses but it smells a heck of a lot better than MEK and works just as well.

HUH? who in their right mind would use MEK on plexi?

I don't know but there probably is someone out there that would try...

Ssshhh.... don't let OSHA hear you saying that. It's "All Purpose Cleaner and Solvent". It just happens to be light blue and smell like AVGAS. ;)

Varsol works well to remove decals and adhesives, but I've never tried it on plexiglass.

40 grit sandpaper on a DA sander works the best. I highly recommend it.

aliphatic naptha is what they will tell you to use at A and P school.

Look for adhesive remover wherever a wide selection of thinners and such are stocked. Here in MN, it is carried at Menards. Aircraft Spruce and Specialty has it in CA and GA.

It is relatively common.

One quart will last the rest of your life and you will be amazed how often you use it.

You just use a 1 x 1 inch square of paper towel and start working it into the surface and around the edges. A finger nail will start pulling it up pretty quick.
