A trio of USMC CH-46 Sea Knights passed over Bristol Motor Speedway this afternoon. Ran out to the airport and grabbed some photos and a video of their departure.

Caught a white, four engine jet flying high over my house this evening. Not sure what it was. Maybe someone can identify it.

Those are Night Hawk CH-46s.

Clean, shiny and very official-looking CH-46's. Official transports of some sort?

Canso, Night Hawks are the CH-46s used by the Presidential detail.

Antonov 124. Agreed. Look at the tail and the squatty fuselage.

Haven't had a chance to report it but a white/gray Skyraider did a low pass over Crystal Lake near Lodi WI a week ago Saturday. Just saw it as it did a chandelle 180 to the right and headed back across the lake. I saw Eric's Spad at a small airshow in Prairie du Sac 2 years ago but it was blue:

Did he get a new paint job?

I saw a B-29 and a B-24 [This space, for the purists to insert the correct nomenclature: _________________ ] :D :D

Ah! And, a Jet Provost too. The three airplanes were seen at the Houston Executive Airport, near Katy, TX.

Yesterday I saw Flagship Detroit fly over Meacham. This morning I've seen a C-47 (Southern Cross I believe) and The B-25 Pacific Prowler take off out of Meacham, I assume heading for Alliance for the airshow this weekend. I'm hoping I'll see a large silver and yellow 4 engined bird headed that way sometime today too...I haven't seen the B-17 'Chuckie' up close with her new accessories! Here's to hoping! :drink3:

Went to Burnet, TX today with a student for several reasons - including the 50th anniversary of the airport and a mini fly-in. Saw of course the Highland Lakes Squadron's birds and a few others like the T-6 types below.

Had some fun with a few "Cub" types, too.

A C-130 Hercules flew past my house Sunday evening. Ran out to Tri-Cities Airport (KTRI) to grab some photos. After refueling and just prior to startup, the right external tank developed a leak which required the emergency vehicles to come out and clean the spilled fuel off the tarmac. After about 30 minutes of cleanup, the Herc was able to depart.
