Thanks, I guess I can contribute something, even though I was called a troll here about a month ago.

Both versions are absolutley stunning Tim! What a gorgeous plane, and your photos come complete with an excellent sky.

Thank you for sharing those with us!

OK Guys. Here is what you've been waiting to hear. If you haven't already known, Bob Odegaard brought Race 74 down to the Az Wing of the CAF right after Reno. Today, Larry Perkins flew Race 57 in as well. Guess what happening tomorrow afternoon? By the way, 57 has been repainted with the same scheme and looks stunning. Absolutely perfect! I'll have some pics in a little bit as soon as I get them to photobucket and I'll have more tomorrow.

Just give them both a gentle reminder that all of us would be very, very, happy if they both were on the ramp in Reno in September. Since Ron bought 57, nobody outside of AZ ever sees the plane.

And darn few people in AZ for that matter!

Chris, do you have any idea what time tomorrow?

They are doing a sunrise static photo session on our ramp tomorrow and from the latest I've heard, about 230 for the photo flight. Then Larry will fly 57 directly back to Stellar from the session and Bob will return with 74. So if you want to see them both, I wouls suggest no later than noon. If I hear anything different, I will let you know. Here are some pics from today.

Great thread thanks guys. Warbirds Intl has a cool article this month on race 74. Good to see this and remember it being there at Reno, as it kind of got lost in the shuffle after what happened.
