Hello guys! Recently I went on a road trip in NH and stumble across this big old radial engine hung up on the side of barn and I have no idea what it is, so this is where you guys come in. I am really curious to find out what it is.

I am pretty sure it is a R-755 Jacobs. It probably came off of a UC-78 based on the engine mount and carb box.

The rocker box cover says 'JACOBS' so it's a shaky Jake alright.

Hey, I'm left handed so I can write mirror image on a piece of paper that you'll need to turn over and hold up to the light to read, something right handed folks can't do, so reading the rocker box was easy
