Best not to open that particular can of worms

All I can remember there was a P-40F that was going to be made into a P-40E as the restoration team added the top air scoop. If that was reversed and put back in "F" model configuration than thats a good thing.

Different aeroplane altogether - you're thinking of the one in New Zealand

Ahem...

Okay, so you're WIX's #1 P-40 buff who's actually been around fairly regularly (I'm assuming) for the last three years... I'll concede that... lol

Just joshin' ya Nate...

I know I'm coming in late here, but I'm still waking up after a long hibernation. That Hawk is a beaut... I hear there's been a bit of rattlin' about the paint job and, as I don my historian's hat, I'm going to agree. I'm not crazy about how it was done. But it is not my bird, and I did not pay for it. That said, I *do* like the choice of markings... most groovy.

Anyhoo, regardless of my opinion of this Hawk's feathers, she is absolutely beautiful... and most importantly, she's a Hawk that is flying... and that's all that truly matters to me.

Did the P-47 fly during Legends? I have not seen any airborne pictures of her yet.

I believe Peter posted previously that it would be static only for the airshow.
