hi nathan,
I build warbirds here in the UK mainly spitfires but i m also working on a tempest mkV , if i can be of any help i ll sure give you some pointers , tools ,materials etc let me know ,also i have hundreds of photos and drawing s .I m now starting up another side to the company which is military vehicles look at my website i have some pictures of our finished work on there . website is www.mil-net.com

Hi Nathan,
May I suggest if you go down the P40 path an E would be a better choice due to engine availability and the Rudder is rather complex a nice easy point to cut your teeth would be the firewall, some simple folds and a few curves to practice with.
Don't be put off by the detractors we all have to start somewhere all the best with your dream.
