Ok, so it's not a warbird, but I still thought it was a great shot...

The CESSNA 180/185 series was also known as the L-17 and VNAF and I think the Thai AF used them in SEA. (and not to be confused with the Korean War era NAVION)

The Aeros & Autos Show is tomorrow @ Ellington and Texas Flying Legends is one of the co-sponsors and will have their planes on display. I was told they'll be flying them to the Dakota (I forget North or South) museum on Sunday.

B-25 right over my house 5 minutes ago.

I heard a P-51 take off today at Chino. I have no idea which one though, I was too busy working inside the hangar... I heard a B-25 last week.

U-17 is the proper term for the Cessna.............remeber we weren't there so the Cessnas, T-28s, and Birddogs weren't there either.

By treaty the U.S. never had combatants in Laos, although 45 years later we know the truth. The Ravens had probably the most dangerous and unrecongnized jobs in SE Asia.
