This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Looks legit, but it would be nice to see some pictures.

I would suggest the Collings foundation try for it.

IIRC this is who the CF got the F-100 from.
I think this person was trying to get enough parts to put a 106 together.

Then may I suggest that these guys obtain the 106's.
http://www.starfighters.net/#!__page-0/vstc1=slide-3It would mirror there 3 F-104's perfectly. One two seater and two single seats.

There is only one engine to go with the three airframes. Getting 2 more J-75's is not something you can just go to the corner store and pick up.
These are the three aircraft that are owned by the guy who owned the F-100F that The Collings Foundation now operates.

I would love to see someone or a group buy this package and put a Delta Dart back in the air again, but as mentioned the fact that they only have ONE J-75 engine in the package is probably the biggest hindrance to the project.

it would be great if the collings foundation bought it!! they have the money & resources to restore it to flyable.

Nice pics Cliff. Where is Mr. Durand place located. I tried Google searching all over Alb but no luck. It seems as though he has a whole air force for sale.

I believe these are all ex-drones. I'm not sure, but would think all the drone mods would have to be removed (which are considerable) before the FAA would even consider certifying one of them.

The P&W JT-4D (DC-8) is essentially a non burner civilian version of the J-75-and I doubt you could get away with an operating AB as a civilian aircraft.
