Came across this listing on eBay for (3) 1940's Curtiss P-40N Aircraft for sale. Starting price is only $50,000. They will take a lot of work to get back into the air.

Does anyone know which one this is? It looks like it was recovered from some kind of unprotected outside storage (recovery of an abandoned airframe). Curious.

it was recovered from a florida swamp and its pretty rough....i doubt it will ever fly

I think it was even on display at Sun N Fun a few years back.
You know, anything can fly again given enough money and thrust.

At one time it was owned by Hal Thompson.He was a real nice guy and went to alot of trouble to piece the airframe back together.
