OK, it's not an A-5 Vigilante, but I'm still happy that I've already booked my flights and bought my tickets! :D

I'm curious to find out what colours it will be in. Hoping it will make a nice photopass on arrival,

Roger

Roger, I would rather see a Vigilante also, , but I will take the Guardian. Looking forward to a nice pass on Taxiway Photography/Arrival day also, but I believe that this will probably also be a planned flier in the show Saturday and Sunday as a unique vintage U.S. Navy warbird (at least I certainly hope so).

I am curious as to the colors/markings too, hope it is in vintage military markings and not plain aluminum, but I'll take it either way. Should be a GREAT show in July.

The Guardian will be flying in the "Legacy Parade" portion of the show each day.

The Guardian is currently painted in a vintage Navy paint job. :D

Michael, thanks for the GREAT news on the vintage Navy paint scheme for the Guardian and on the "Legacy Parade" planned for the show. Sounds like the parade will be one of the Big highlights of the show this year.

Cool addition. Always liked the Guardian, but I've never seen one flying or static before. Sort of reminds me of a Hellcat on steroids.

Unbelievable, Michael! That makes 8 Corsairs on the list for Thunder! It would be fantastic to see all of them in the air together.

It was announced on another blog, that 5 Navy T-6 Texan II's and the CONA painted T-39 Sabreliner from TAW-6 at Pensacola are coming to T.O.M. 2011!

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

Tom, the CONA/Heritage Paint Scheme North American T-39N Sabreliner from Pensacola is a VERY Welcome addition to the lineup! The T-39 is one of the rarer vintage military aircraft still in active service. Look forward to more CONA paint job a/c being added to the lineup (how about an EA-6B Prowler please?).

thanks for adding another Corsair! My father let me know tonight that he's now in for the show and I think that F4U-4B sealed the deal!

Thanks, Michael! The show lineup keeps getting better and better. Since it has been 1 month today since the last update of the aircraft list on the show website, hopefully we will get a revised one soon with all these great additions.

Just over 3 months to go....
