Hey... I thought we outlawed posting URL's without any description...

I'm kidding, this video is well worth seeing. I admire how beat up the planes look. I think when I own two spitfires, I'll keep one "all tidy" like most currently flown Spits, and then one "historically dirty." I think they have a certain charm with scratches, dirt, and tattered tape on the gun holes.

Thanks for posting. My mum's side of the family was from Czechoslovia and came across to Canada as the Nazis threatened to invade, so it's especially nice to see the footage of those that stayed to fight.

Even though the original sound track (if any) has been removed, can anyone else 'hear' them?

Fantastic to see some short snippets of AR501 in there and know she is still around and flying with Shuttleworth. (Or will be again shortly) I believe AR501 is probably my favorite of the Spitfire survivors.
