Re: Gulfhawk 4th at Fighter Rebuilders?

Thanks Everybody! Esp. for the pic.s! From the history that I do know, Bob Pond's Bear is the ex Roger Kahn's ex Red G-58 and the Gulfhawk 4th at Fighter Rebuilders is indeed made up of one of the ex Kaman's cross wind cats ( the other is the just sold "Blue Angels" Bearcat) and parts/ paper work from the org. Gulfhawk 4th and maybe parts of the crashed "Escape" Bearcat air racer as first put together by Elmer Ward. I was told by a "Famous" Sea Fury pilot at a recent airshow that Steve Hinton and partners now own Gulfhawk 4th, in place of the "Silver" Cat sold to Rod Lewis. I SURE hope this is true, it will be in the best of care. Thanks Again, BC/SF :bear:

ASFAIK, the same group that owned the Thai marked Bearcat now own Elmer's old project. I believe Rod Lewis traded up for the complete aircraft.
