We dropped a step ladder out of the B-25 (N3161G) during a bomb run over Harlingen in 1976. I didn't know the pilot was going to open the bomb doors.

Max Gardner was the guy that did it but it happened in Harlingen.

These bombing missions went on for years at Geneseo ( i think the pyrotechnic guys in the field got a little close to the range at times) using pumpkins, then i believe watermelons. B-25's, Avengers, B-17's. what ever could bomb.......bombed!
