We dropped a step ladder out of the B-25 (N3161G) during a bomb run over Harlingen in 1976. I didn't know the pilot was going to open the bomb doors.

Was this an exaggeration or a real event?
Max Gardner was the guy that did it but it happened in Harlingen.

These bombing missions went on for years at Geneseo ( i think the pyrotechnic guys in the field got a little close to the range at times) using pumpkins, then i believe watermelons. B-25's, Avengers, B-17's. what ever could bomb.......bombed!
