Hello,

I am hoping that someone might be able to help. I have been trying to locate a color photo of Louis Curdes' "Bad Angel".
I have found many black and white photos, but I am really looking for the color photo.
Thanks very much for any help!

I looked extensively for any such photos when we were restoring Pima's Mustang and I never found anything. I've heard that there might be a color film that shows the plane but I've been unable to locate any copies. The only color representations I ever found were the drawings done for some model decals. All the color drawings out there on the internet are basically the same and all show the same error with the fuselage markings. There should only be one black stripe around the fuselage instead of the two that are usually shown.

Here's a link to a photo of the restored plane. http://www.pimaair.org/collection-detail.php?cid=368

Thanks for the information.

I know they exist... I had one given to me by Curdes himself. I was only about ten at the time and I haven't been able to locate it. It was a treasure of mine and I still hope to locate it someday. I just have boxes of stuff that I need to go through to see if it is in there.

If you ever do come across it I'd love to see it. Also any photos of the plane other than the two that are widely available on the net would be interesting as well.

I'll be sure to post them if I locate them. How much information did you find regarding Curdes? I would be interested in any of the information and photos you have about him.
Thanks, Robert
