Thanks for all the information, Matthias! Please keep us abreast of any warbird news in Germany, as we don't have too many WIX members from over there to keep us informed.

Indeed, better be safe then sorry! I'd rather see them fly with a 4-bladed prop, then crash with a 3-bladed one! Any news of F-AZZJ? Will it ever fly again?

The 4 blades haven't exactly been successful either:

Matthias, if a wrecked Luftwaffe plane from the Second War was, say, recovered from a lake, and then was displayed in Germany at a museum in the same condition it was in when it was brought up, would the swastika have to be covered?

no, thats a museum plane, showing swastika should be no problem

Danke!

after the test runs, the MeierMotors Team took their fighters and flew to the "Flying Legends" event in Duxford/England. Here you can see Achim Meier with the Corsair F-AZYS in front, followed by the TF-51 D-FTSI with Marc Mathis and Elmar Meier and last but not least Maxi Gainza with the fantastic Spitfire MkVIII D-FEUR.

Thank you for bringing these beautiful planes, they were a pleasure to see fly. Especially the Corsair, it's been many many years since I've seen one fly :)
