I seem to recall that when the Belle was "restored" before she went to Mudd Island, that a Buuuunch of her Interior parts were "misplaced"

I saw the Belle out in California at an airshow once...don't they have all the original parts?

Randy, You must be thinking of the movie version of the Memphis Belle still owned by the family of David Tallichet.

Yeah, I know.

I was joking...WIX has in the past had some colorful discussions relating to how the Tallichet Fortress has been painted and 'marketed' over the years. One of the gripes is that at times the Tallichet aircraft has been described as "THE Memphis Belle" to unknowing airshow guests over the years.

Doesn't it say "The Movie" in really small letters on it these days?
