Will Ward? How about Dean Cutshalls' F-100F? They made it sound like it was just down to fuel costs....

Yah it's Will. He's camping with our band of degenerates as well so at least he'll be properly chaperoned.

The Vintage Aero Flying Museum will also set up a mini museum of WW1 artifacts, including the blood stained Bible that was in Lanoe Hawker's (first fighter pilot to be awarded a VC) pocket when he was shot down by von Richtofen, and a silver cigarette case signed by many famous German WW1 pilots, as well as original uniforms and etc.

Oh, no, a poor innocent MiG driver, rather than a hardened aeroscribbler! Anyone got his e-mail so I can give him some defensive tips? :axe:

Meantime anyone wanting to be nice to the MiG 21 boy, just ask him how it corners...

You'll have a blast. Well, OK, it's a T-38, you'll have a pssssssssttt.

Just don't let T33Driver leave you with those dodgy Hopper boys.

Real sorry I can't be there this year...

You guys all fly safe, now.

James,

He knows the Mig-21 corners like a turd but is quick to remind me it's not happy til it's going 400 kts plus in the climb. He's like Ricochet Rabbit on aderrall so he may have to be restrained during the latter part of cocktail hour. We'll post updates if we can remember what happened. I'm hoping to avoid any further combat trauma emergency medical orthopaedics this year. My best to your knee. 8)

Can we read 'statute of limitations' everyone? (This may also be a good tip for the WIX barbie ~cof~ sorry, cookout.)

I'd advise that, and thanks. I trade on it. [Deep Voice]"Yes, m'am, that's my wounded knee. It was back at 'Kosh, when I sustained the traumatic wound..."[/Deep Voice] 8)

However, if the MiG runs out of fuel (like that'd ever happen  ) I can recommend the little-old-man carts for getting around, and I'm sure they corner better, even if you need a ramp to 'climb'.

It appears that the CV-22 Osprey has officially been approved for Airventure.

AvWeb had a note that the EAA has invited Boeing to bring the Dreamliner.
If the rumour I heard comes to fruition, the aerobatic act that is going be preformed in a new restoration will have several thousand jaws dropping... :D

Arriving with my wife (Juliet) on Sunday and staying 'till the bitter end.....

I haven't been to Oshkosh in so many years that this might as well be my first time.
