The Heritage Flight Museum would like to thank the staff and volunteers who have gotten the Scorpion this far.

Looking good!

Gotta love that placard on the side of the cockpit:

WARNING
Canopy must be closed and locked during:
1. Taxi above 50 knots
2. Flight

I can just hear the pilot asking the back-seater at 35k ft and 400 kts, "Hey, you mind if I crack the canopy for some fresh air? Oh wait, this placard says it probably wouldn't be a good idea. Glad I noticed it..I would have never figured that out by myself."

Wow, that's pretty amazing! Nice job. How was that transformation to the cockpit done - with new paint or just a heavy scrubbing with some sort of cleaner?

I was begining to wonder what was happening with the old 'gobbler'. You folks have done amazing things in a fairly short time.
By the way Steve N. every 757 has an identical decal on the forward inner post of the opening (#2) window on both sides of the flight deck

WOW! That looks like brand new! Amazing job. Was the interior spray or brush painted?

It's on the 777 too. (I'll find out if the sticker is on the 787 next year. )

Also a combination of both.

The museum acquired 2 tires before we left to recover the aircraft, but I'm sorry James, beyond that I don't have any more information. I'll try to find out for you.
