The long topic about the P-82 and the NMUSAF as posted by Mustangdriver, reminds me that he has done a fine job in posting many interesting topics, and done it in a polite way. He is a volunteer at the AF museum, so we get to hear some inside type views, and often been in the minority, and the target of many who disagree with some part of the issues.

Bill my friend, thank you. WIX is a great place and I have connected with many very cool people. I have made many great friends and have had the chance to do awesome things because of the people I have met here.

Any friend of the NMUSAF is my enemy after their refusing to let me shoot video of the Doolittle reunion B-25 take-offs! This is war, Chris!

Just kidding. It was AF base security that was idiotic, and overall the NMUSAF is fabulous, though I don't agree with many policies of them nor the Navy. :)

From one of Chris' entrenched enemy combatants on a certain NMUSAF/CAF issue, there are few as respectful and polite as Chris. A truly valuable member of this community. Ok, boxing gloves back on!

Mustangdriver has always been very informative in his posts. His inside knowledge is a treasure, and he has always been a gentleman. Mr. Greenwood, I agree totally with your thread. Have you ever thought of becoming a moderator? :D

Thanks again guys. Pat, I wish I had your book with at the WWII Weekend. We had no wait at all to meet the Doolittle Raiders.
