The differences between a show in the U.S. controlled by the Freely Associating A$$holes and their '15000 yards from the crowd, don't ever point the airplane @ the people' and shows done in places other than the U.S.-remember, it was the FAA who cancelled the traditional Blue Angels show @ Seattles SEAFAIR hydro races in 1994 because the maneuvers were 'potentially dangerous'
except for the fact that neither the Blues or the Thunderchickens have modified their show maneuvers substantially in 50+ years. (political pressure from some Mount Baker rich homeowners who didn't like the noise put out by the then new to the team FA-18's)

The (social/political/economical) price of having an accident today is not the same has it was before. In a unrelated note, this is also why it is much more expensive to go to space today than when Neil and Aldrin went there... security comes with a big price tag ("price" is meant in more than the economical sense).

That's Awesome! As is Parr! Parr's bringing me to the light side...(he's a loose Canon..inside joke).

There was a special back when Discovery had their "Wings" channel on the T-birds which featured some great video of the Huns at low altitude, and of course "Threshold: the Blue Angels experience" cannot be seen enough for low-altitude Phantom stuff!
