Hi,

You have a really nice project! I am frequently visiting your photo album.
I am looking for some smooth contour tyres (like yours) for our "Vintage" Hatz project. We have a set of Fischer Bendix wheels (24" dia tyres with 16" rims), but still haven't found the proper tyres. Although you may have 30" wheels, your tyre supplier might have a set for us. Would you name me your source for theose tyres?
I am looking forward to see your bird flying, but in the meantime enjoy your beautiful work!
Kind regards
Hans, Switzerland

hey Hans, thanks for the nice comments. Try http://www.cokertire.com/ they do make up batches of specialty tires when there are enough requests for them. They made up a batch of 30x5 aircraft tires a few years ago. You could email them to see what they say.

added a few new pictures in the photo album. The fuselage is painted,
stripe added and getting ready to add Command-Aire logo. Next is
putting it back on the gear and begin covering the wings.

We started covering the wings the other day. So far
we have the right upper wing ready for rib stitching.
It is coming along and we should get alot done in the
next few weeks.
