Fantasy of Flight Paranormal tours

Anybody been on one of these tours?

"Is Fantasy of Flight a Favorite Haunt for Spirits?

Decide for yourself at nightFlight.

For years visitors to Fantasy of Flight, Central Florida’s premier aviation attraction, believed the only specters of the past they’d encounter would be the collection of 40 fully-restored vintage aircraft, displays of a long-ago era of aviation.

But as stories of unexplained occurrences such as unidentifiable noises, temperature changes and the detection of mists and shadows drifted into the paranormal community, professional investigators (or “ghost hunters” to which they are more dramatically referred in popular media) took notice.

Apollo Paranormal Investigations (API), a non-profit investigative team based in Apollo, Florida, has conducted a series of scientific explorations and on a paranormal-activity scale between 1 and 10, they have rated Fantasy of Flight’s aircraft collection an “11.”

Based on their results, Fantasy of Flight has invited the general public to nightFlight, an exciting after-hours program that offers adventurous visitors four full hours to “Explore the Unexplained.”

Kermit must have invited some guests during his out of body experiences.

Isn't the NMUSAF supposed to have some ghosts as well? Something about one of the helicopters on display still having blood on one of the seats and the ghost of one of the pilots appearing...?

Chris, ever heard any stories about ghosts from the volunteers there?

Here's one that I found in another thread about the NMUSAF:

mustangdriver wrote:I can re tell the one that happened to me. It was the end of the day, and the crowd was making their way out. On the way out, an elderly couple stopped and said that they really enjoyed the museum. The man said that he had always wanted to visit and that it was much larger than what he thought it was going to be. The wife then told me that she usually doesn't go into many of the air museums with him for very long, but she stayed with him on this one. They said that they were excited to see that we had the reinactors in the WWII Gallery. I know for a fact that we have none. I asked them what they meanat and they said the young men in their WWII gear by the B-17. So after they left, and some of the lights were powerd off, I made my way back to the B-17 to check it out. No sign of reinactors, but one of the lights shines down to a point right infront of the B-17. There was something at this point on the floor, so I walked over to see what it was, and it was a USAAF patch that would have come from the shoulder of a uniform. I still have that patch to this day. Still not sure what to think of it.

Wendover has had a couple of "ghost" hunter groups come to the air base.

Personally, I am not particularly inclined to have any more come. The interest it generates seems to be of the wrong sort for us. With 80+ original buildings here all being more than 65 years old it presents too much of a problem when I have folks coming out to "see ghosts". Several of the buildings are leased by private parties and we simply do not have the manpower to run a "authorized" type tour. Besides, I was always told to respect the dead.

Apollo Paranormal Investigations was formerly called Spinal Tap Paranormal Investigations.
